Privacy Policy
Scanwise Mobile does not collect, store, or share any of your personal information. Your scans stay on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Scanwise Mobile has no accounts or sign-in. It has no advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools. The app doesn't send your documents or any information about you to New Trail Design LLC or to anyone else.
How your documents are handled
All processing happens on your device:
- Scanning, edge detection, and page straightening use your phone's built-in scanner (Apple VisionKit on iPhone and iPad; Google ML Kit on Android).
- Filters, cropping, signatures, and text recognition (OCR) run on your device.
- PDFs, including password-protected PDFs, are created on your device.
- Your documents are stored in the app's private storage on your device. If you delete the app, your documents are deleted with it.
On Android, Google Play services may download the scanner and text-recognition components once. That download is handled by Google Play services, not by Scanwise Mobile, and it doesn't include your documents.
Sharing
A document leaves the app only when you tap Share, Save, or Print and choose where it goes, for example Mail, Files, Google Drive, or Photos. That destination's own privacy policy then applies.
Permissions

| Face ID / fingerprint | Only if you turn on App Lock. Biometric checks are handled by your device's operating system, and the app never receives your biometric data. |
You can change these permissions at any time in your device's Settings.
Children
Scanwise Mobile is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. If we ever start collecting data, we'll explain what and why here before that version of the app is released.
